Abstract

Aim: To assess responder and non-responder on CRT, differences between these groups and to assess time depending development of clinical and echocardiographic effect of CRT in responders group in a prospective study. 15 months after CRT we find 38 responders (66%) and 19 non-responders 33%). These groups differ only in extension of ventricular dyssynchrony before implantation of biventricular system.

Statistical significant changes of all monitored parameters in the responders group were determined already 3 months after the implantation of CRT.
