Arabidopsis RAB geranylgeranyl transferase β-subunit mutant is constitutively photomorphogenic, and has shoot growth and gravitropic defects

Abstract

Rab GTPases are geranylated to function as a periferal membrane proteins by Rab geranylgeranyl transferase. Here we show that Arabidopsis mutant in one of two beta subnit paralogs is constitutively photomorphogenic.
