Abstract
At the first glance it seems that parasites are a bit extraordinary, something that cannot be seen very often. Because most parasites live hidden life, biologists tend to overlook them, their role in the ecosystem and also their species richness - diversity.
In this article I will try to show that this is a big mistake and that parasites in terms of diversity are not behind their free-living colleges.
