Abstract

Individually aimed intervention (treatment of asymptomatic infective foci or improvement of poor function of arterio-venous fistula) in chronic hemodialysis patients may improve levels of HDL cholesterol and MCP-1. Changes in these 2 parameters can predict the 2-year survival rates of patients.
