Habitat specialization of birds in the Czech Republic: comparison of objective measures with expert opinion

Abstract

The study evaluates different approaches to assessment of habitat specialization of bird species counted in a large scale monitoring scheme. We have compared two quantitative indices measuring habitat specialization and an assessment of eleven experts.

We have found that all metrics reveal similar results.
