Regional correlation of the Earth Gravitational Model 2008 with morphogenetic patterns of the Nepal Himalaya

Abstract

Regional results of the EGM 2008 are correlated with main morphogenetic patterns of the High Asian mountain ranges. Strong coincidences between large-scale morphogenetic styles of the Nepal Himalaya and the extension of regions with very high positive or negative values of the disturbing gravitational potential have been identified.
