Abstract
The author evaluates professional work of Irena Medňanská in the scientific, pedagogical and organisational field in the Slovak Republic. He characterizes cooperation of Irena Medňanská with Czech pedagogues and presents the international impact of her work in the framework of the European Association for Music in Schools.
