Abstract
The contribution includes outcomes of a comparative study focused on integrating education towards health promotion and prevention into education of primary and secondary school pupils. The report was conducted by department of health promotion at Pedagogical Faculty of Charles University in Prague.
The research study reveals the fact that school educational programs and primarily educational reality fail to fulfill visions of pedagogical documentation authors in this respect. Moreover, causes of the current situation are analyzed and possible solutions are provided.
