Abstract

The Mass compositions by the authors in this text contain different expression but also have many features in common. Differences lie in the cast, the artistic language and partly in determining the compositions.

Differences are also an impetus to the composer's compositions resulted. For Zdeněk Pololáník it was to the legitimacy of Czech in the liturgy, Jiří Laburda composing mass in a complex period of life, so compositional work, he became a kind of spiritual refuge from adversity, Josef Říha wrote the work with a view to early implementation in a concert experience, Jan Grossmann then wrote the work, in which reflected his own way feeling and experiencing the relationship with the world.

What unites all of those works is mainly undisputed artistic quality.
