The paper is a summary of results of an extensive questionnaire survey mapping some conditions of education on the field of secondary schools in the Central Bohemian region. The first half of the survey was aimed on pupils’ grades in science-related subjects.
The second half was aimed on certification of chemistry teachers in secondary schools. Results of this survey are sorted by types of the secondary schools.
There are considerable differences in the results for different types of schools. Since the survey was carried out on a vast amount of pupils, it is possible to globalise the results for the entire Czech Republic.
