Abstract
Monograph of Tertiary fauna from the Lower Miocene of the Most Basin in northwestern Bohemia is published. The book presents the selected species attributed to the following groups: Mollusca, Crustacea, Insecta, Pisces, Amphibia, Reptilia, Aves, and Mammalia, all briefly described and illustrated.
In addition the presence of trace fossils so called ichnofossils is recorded (e.g., various types of plant- insect interactions). The book represents the first integral overview of fauna living in the territory of Most Basin during Lower Miocene.
