A child with a "risk of dyslexia". Identifying risk factors for failure in literacy development in European languages

Abstract

Poster presents the concept of risk of dyslexia, it deals with the prerequisites for reading and writing, which can be identified in preschool as well as possibilities for future predictions of specific learning disabilities. Principles of diagnosis of children at risk with potential difficulties in reading and writing, examples of testing on the project ELDEL, the role of patient history to identify risk factors.
