Abstract

A valve-sparing procedure in 34-years old patient with severe unicuspid aortic valve stenosis is described. At the operation, calcified segments of the valve were removed and the valve was reconstructed with the aid of autologous pericardium into a competent bicuspid aortic valve.

Short-term follow-up confirmed excellent result of the procedure
