Stress and its mechanisms

Abstract

This text is dived in three parts. The first part solves the common problems of stress syndrome, presents anatomic structures and neuro-humoral processes, as same as metabolic and functional responses.

This part includes also problems of stress and emotions, relations of stress to memory, gender and genetics. The second more extensive part involves specific problems of selected physical and psychic stressors and analyzes their somatic and psychic consequences.

It shortly mentions posttraumatic stress disorder and psychosomatic diseases, in the same way primary and secondary anti-stress prevention. The third part marks new trends of research, refers to complexity and connections through processes and necessity to use the most modern methods of research on the cellular level.
