Abstract

Calciphylaxis represents rare complication of renal failure. Its prognosis is severe in situations, in which necrotic cutaneous and subcutaneous tissue is infecter with progression into sepsis.

Therapy must be complex, including correction of all systemic risk factors together with dedicated local care. Two cases of calciphylaxis are described with addition of literature review.
