Children with specific language impairment and children with familial risk of dyslexia in preschool age

Abstract

ELDEL research study is focused on risk factors in the development of literacy. There are observed preschool children (n=149) with typical development, with specific language impairment (SLI) and from families at risk of dyslexia.

This paper presents the theory of the relationship between specific language impairment and dyslexia, introduces children to the criteria of division of research groups compared the performance of children in research groups in tests on various levels of speech. Making the other issues for longitudinal research.
