Abstract
The exploration of colors in different languages (as exotic as possible) is the grateful theme of anthropolinguistics, ethnolinguistics and cognitive linguistics. Could be there any differences in the Czech and in the German, i.e. in the neighboring languages with near contact and, to a great extend, with common history? This text focuses on the idioms in both languages which may offer due to their closed and inert structure specific point of view of the conceptualisation of colors.
