Abstract

The text notes the everyday worries of Nicholas Schönborn, the abbot of the Canons Regular of St. Augustine monastery in Breslau, his efforts in cultivating his convent as well as his errors, such as financial embezzlement.

Schönborn succeeded in adopting a pragmatic view of the new Czech King Georg of Podebrady and protecting the property of the convent.
