Václav Němec and Repatriation of Czechoslovak Legionnaires from Siberia via Japan (1918-20)

Abstract

The article deals with recovery of Czechoslovak legionnaires in Japan during their repatriation from Eastern Siberia in the years 1918-20, and focuses on the role of Capt. V.

Němec that Gen. M.

R. Štefánik for that purpose appointed the first interim diplomatic representative of Czechoslovak government and military attaché of Czechoslovak army in Japan.
