Abstract
The Greylag neck banding project was re-established in the South Bohemia (district of České Budějovice) is June 2009. In total, 75 Greylag Goose were caught.
Among those, 59 geese were marked by red neckband (with white code) and 15 juvenile geese were ringed by red rings. In 2009, there were obtained 132 recoveries of 32 individuals.
In total, 82 recoveries were recorded in the Czech Republic, i.e in districts of České Budějovice (80), Znojmo (1) and Břeclav (1). Moreover, 13 Greylag Goose (75 recoveries) were recorded in Germany, 9 Greylags (14 recoveries) were recorded in Hungary and 8 Greylag Goose (11 recoveries) in Italy.
