Abstract
The transfer of the Czech Germans mainly from the borderland was one of the consequences of the Second world war. In consequence of insufficient repopulation, instalation of the "Iron Curtain" and economic acticities of totalitarian regime, a distinct change in the settlement system and landscape occured.
