Abstract

The book deals with the orders of Dominicans, Minorites, Franciscans, Irish monks and Capuchins, their spirituality, coats-of-arms, mottoes, growns and organizations and mainly with the history of the orders in the world and the Czech Lands and even in their individual convents. There are also lists of general superiors, provincials in the Czech Lands, synopses of saints, popes, bishops in the Czech Lands, important members in the Czech Lands and their cultural and historical conribution as well.
