The study follows author's thesis The phenomena of gift-people in the Premyslid countries of 11th and 12th century (Desktop Publishing FF UK Praha 2003). Author cogitates on the possible contribution of church institutions to the evangelisation and humanisation of social relationships in general and at the church estates in the 11th and 12th century in special.
