The Cistercian monasteries of Upper and Lower Lusatia in the second half of the 15th century with respect to their relation to the Kings of Bohemia

Abstract

The Study deals with the Cistercian monasteries of Upper and Lower Lusatia (St. Marienthal, St.

Marienstern, Dobrilugk, Neuzelle) above all in the second half of the 15th century. It examines their evolution and different levels of their relation to the kings of Bohemia, also in comparison with the situation of monasteries in Bohemia and Moravia.
