Future of the Population in Rural Areas in the Czech Republic

Abstract

The main goal of this paper is to discus the future prospect of the population dynamics in the rural areas of the Czech Republic, namely what are the tendencies and the possible positive and negative consequences of such evolution. That can be only concluded after the presentation of what do we consider as rural space and rural population and after a review of the recent population development and socio-economic structure of rural population.
