Abstract
The article discussed the amendment of the Mark of Origin and Geographical Indications Act No. 452/2001 Coll. executed by the act No.375/2007 Coll. with effect from Dec.31st 2007. This act adapts the Council Directive (ES) No. 510/2006 into Czech legal order in connection with national practice before filing application for the community protection of the mark of origin or geographical indication.
