Abstract
The article summarizes key problems of the current environmental law. It explaines reasons for enacting comprehensive environmental acts/codes in Europe that cover all or almost all parts of the environmental law.
Such kind of the environmental act is being developed also in the Czech Republic. Authors are informing about the current state of preparatory works.
