Abstract
The textbook contains the definition, importance, aims and objectives of personnel management and the influences on personnel management in organization. It focuses on personnel strategy, personnel and social politics, responsibility for personnel management in organization, characteristics of personnel work, basis of personnel management, personnel aspects in the development of management, stages of development of personnel work, concept of the human resources management and the development of personnel management in the Czech Republic.
