Some important psychological conceptions of achievement and efficiency are explained, namely level of aspiration by K. Lewin and F.

Hoppe, achievemtn motive by D. McClelland and J.

Atkinson, and perceived self-efficacy by A. Bandura.

The question is asked which psychological processes are the prerequisites of the sustainable development which is an achievement as well.
