Immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory effect of dermal exposure to coal tar and UV-radiation

Abstract

Goeckerman regimen (GR) combines dermal application of therapeutic coal tar (containing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons - PAHs) and UV-radiation. The aim of presented study was to evaluate the changes of selected cellular (lymphocyte subpopulations CD3, CD4,CD8) and humoral immunological parameters (immunoglobulin IgG, IgA, IgM, IgE,).
