Abstract
The article deals with problems of cardiotoxicity of antitumorous treatment. In the first part, the most frequentcauses and signs of cardiotoxicity of oncologic treatment are briefly mentioned.
In the second part, the present-day diagnostic methods of cardiotoxicity are reviewed. The role of potential biochemical markers of heart damage is emphasized.
The authors? own results are also presented. The article contains a table showing the current classification of cardiotoxicity according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
