Prophylaxis of thromboembolic disease in internal patients

Abstract

According the ACCP quideline for thromboprophylaxis in hospitalized internal medicine patients with clinical risk factors of venous thromboembolism, low molecular weight heparin or minidoses of unfractionated heparin are to be administered.
