The effect od terlipressin in the prevention on circulatory changes in comparison with albumin after paracentesis of a tense ascites - randomized multicentric study

Abstract

Terlipssin administration in the dosis of 1 mg every 4 hours after large volume paracentesis was comparable effective with recommended albumin administration in the prevention of undesirable effects on circulatory system. This new method is well~tolerated and financially more favorable.~
