Herpes zoster in the Czech Republic - epidemiology and clinical manifestations

Abstract

The incidence of shingles in the Czech Republic is sporadic, the incidence of long-term stability. The incidence was recorded 1.4 times higher in women than in men.

The incerease of number of cases of the disease begins in the age group 45-49 years.
