Geshom Scholem - Historian, Mystician, Anarchist and his significance for contemporary Jewish studies

Abstract

This study, dedicated to Prof. Kučera, describes the personality and work of Gershom Scholem (1897-1982).

He was one of the most outstanding thinkers of Judaism in 20th century - his scholarly and methodological contribution is respected at every institution dealing with Jewish studies.
