Points of stagnation in Czech Translation Studies: two looks at its theory and background

Abstract

Czech Translation Studies is a modern discipline in terms of its methodology and theory, on a par with international (western) TS, as it is based on Czech structuralism and Jiří Levý. However, it remains mostly unknown due to the linguistic barrier and international dissemination.
