Abstract

Contacts between the Holy See and the activist attempted to establish the Czechoslovak republic have been existed from the First World War. From the beginning of the existence of the new state the mutual relationship was problematic and the crises came to the head when nuncios Marmaggi was recalled to Rome from Prague in 1925.

Also the following discussion ending by closing "modus vivendi" in 1928 was very problematic.
