The Saints of Přemyslids. The Origins of Cults and Canonisations

Abstract

There is a monograph about the origins of the cults of the oldest Bohemian saints from the 10th till the 14th century, specifically St. Ludmila, Wenceslas, Mlada, Adalbert, Gunther, Procopius and Agnes.

All these saints were someway connected with the dynasty of Přemyslids. The book aspires for a new interpretation based on the rigorous research of sources.
