Commented edition of Jakobsons lectures on formalism. The first translation into Russian, with epilogue, bibliography, overwiew of Jakobsons main works in a chronological order and also materials and documents connected with the reception of Jakobsons work in Czechoslowakia in the period 1928 - 1968.
