The publication describes the formation, methods, procedures and cooperation on the digital Geographical bibliography of the Czech Republic of the 20th and 21st century. The database was created in an unconventional way of cooperation with specialised libraries and with the National Library.
There were excerpted 39 geographical profile titles from the first volume to the present day. In dependence on the licences the database enabled among others archiving and access to some full texts of the articles.
The next part of the book describes the selection, the processing and the possibilities of using the subject periodicals in the database. The importance of scientific geographical journals for the field is analysed.
The possibilities of implementing the GEOBIBLINE database to the geographical e-learning are described. The document concludes with comparison of the database with the world, freely accessible geographical databases.
Czech geographical database was formed in the shortest time period, moreover it includes added value such as full texts and citations generated to ISO 690.
