Abstract

Saint Wenceslas was venrated as „eternal sovereign” of the Czechs and Bohemian Lands, in particular during the reign of Emperor Charles IV. The works of art were witnesses of the dissemination the cult.

The treatice just deals with this dissemination the cult of St. Wenceslas in Europe in the periods of the Premyslids and Luxemburgs.
