Abstract
This publication brings the selection of studies by Josef Petráň, published between 1956-2003 with focus on cultural history. It is divided into three sections: I.Society, II.University, III.Historiography.
In each or these groups are included studies devoted to the analysis of individual problems and methodology research, as well as a summary of views on issues of cultural history, covering a broad chronological range from the Middle Ages until the 20th century.
