Abstract
The chapter describes genetically modified microorganisms, plants and animals and genetic manipulations in human beings. The list of genes beány introduces in the mentioned organisms is given together with the aim o fit and advantages and risks, which these manipulations bring about.
In human beings the question to which extent we are allowed to change our own genetic code is discussed.
