The study analyzses educational courses for coordinators of environmental education and awareness, which in 2006-9 were organized by the Association of Environmental Education Centres Pavučina and its affiliated organizations. The main part of the research uses Grounded Theory methodology to analyse how the candidate re-interpret the course, what factors they perceive as influential to the interpretation and how they applied the course content in their practice.
