Abstract
In the paper we analyse the film 'Exorcism of Emily Rose' from a sociological point of view. We are interested in the tension and confrontation between medical and spiritual perspective, as enacted during the trial on possession and failed exorcism.
This analysis is closely connected to our research on religions and spiritual phenomena in psychiatric practice.
