Differences in diversity among bird communities caused by usage of two modifications of the point counts: the effect of distance sampling and discrimination between singing and non-singing individuals

Abstract

The study shows that the discrimation between singing and non-singing individuals as well as the estimation of the distance of particular individual from the observer induce considerable changes in bird diversity estimation.
