Abstract
The problem concerning the relation between the Jan Evangelista Purkyně´s physiology of sensual perception and physiology of visuality and development of contemporary art at the beginning of 20th century. The probable influence of Purkyně´s physiology to Vincenc Kramář´s theory of cubism.
