Abstract
The article describes the methodology of economy-wide material flow analysis and indicators based on this accounting framework. This indicators were compiled for the Chech Republic for 1990-2003.
The results show that they decreased by 30-50 % over the monitored period. Special attantion is paid to output material flow indicators, which are broken down by environmental media (water, air, soil) and economic sectors.
