Social climate quality and the needs of kindergarten teachers

Abstract

Fundamental changes relating to nursery schools wich were recently undertaken and may impact on the personel climate are examined. The results of several research projects conducted in the Czech Republic over the last few years help clarify how the work climate is perceived by teachers and directors.

Questions are focused on the extent and quality of cooperative tendencies in various large work teams at nurseries and on what teachers need in order to carry out their profession.
