Judicial independence in Central-Eastern Europe: the experience of the 1990s and 2000s

Abstract

The author analyzes the issue of independence of the judiciary in Central and Eastern Europe and the examples and practical experience of the Czech Constitutional Court, the Hungarian National Council for Law and Polish Supreme Court.
